The Revelstoke Women's Shelter, also known as Forsythe House, has run for over 30 years in Revelstoke, providing refuge and support for women and their children at risk of abuse.



The Revelstoke Women’s Shelter is a safe home that provides women and their children with temporary shelter and support. It is run by the Revelstoke Women’s Shelter Society, a non-profit society in the community of Revelstoke.

We exist to offer support, assistance, information and referrals in a courteous and compassionate manner that respects the dignity, privacy, culture and diversity of women and children who are victims of abuse.

The board of directors and staff of the society work in a non-judgemental manner to support families and individuals while they make a decision to return home or seek alternate options.

Mission

Mandate

The Society established Forsythe House as a safe home to provide women and children in our community with temporary shelter. The Board of Directors and staff of the Society work in a non-judgemental manner to support women and their children while exploring their options.
