Forsythe House is a safe home that provides women and their children with temporary shelter and support. It is run by the Revelstoke Women’s Shelter Society, a non-profit society in the community of Revelstoke.
We exist to offer support, assistance, information and referrals in a courteous and compassionate manner that respects the dignity, privacy, culture and diversity of women and children who are victims of abuse.
The board of directors and staff of the society work in a non-judgemental manner to support families and individuals while they make a decision to return home or seek alternate options.
Our outreach programs help vulnerable women, living in the shelter or in the community, move forward with their lives.
